Uncle James

I love the holidays because it brings family together, and it brings me new models to practice different lighting techniques on. (And gives my poor over-photographed kids a break.) This week, Uncle James was the willing subject and I didn't even have to bribe him with candy.

Second Place - two times!!

I was notified this morning that two of my images placed second in this month's BetterPhoto contest. More than 21,000 photos were entered into the competition so it's quite an honor to be selected.

"My Sunshine" took second in the People category.

"Dreaming of a White Christmas" took second in the Monthly Theme category.

The Pianist

I had a wonderful session this past week with a local pianist, Jennifer Shoup. Along with traveling and performing with two symphonies, Jennifer owns The Piano Prepatory School in Beavercreek.

Ho Ho Ho!

My hubby came home last night with an early Christmas gift for the kids. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the work involved, especially considering I just finished potty training the last of my kiddos, but he sure is cute!
